Modesta was founded in Japan in 2005 and after many years of rigorous, real world research and testing, it's first coating was released in 2009. International expansion happened very quickly and still to this day, Modesta remains to be one of the most installed products used worldwide. It is a small, boutique manufacturer of high-end paint protection coatings.

Many of the coatings in todays market are manufactured by one or two pharma companies and re--labelled with various brands, however, Modesta create and manufacture their own (and only their own)  coatings in house exclusively.

There are so many benefits of a Modesta Coating and for most people, the top benefit is easy maintenance. A Professional grade coating is an additional chemical polymer layer on top of the vehicles original clear coat, providing an extra hard, durable and hydrophobic shield. The coating will help prevent chemical damage such as bird droppings, provide UV protection and the hydrophobic properties will help prevent water spots and ensure no build up of road grime on the paintwork.

The curing process required for a Modesta Coating is what put's them at the top of the game. Most coatings only need to be wiped on and immediately wiped off. Job done.

But not Modesta. their coatings require a layer of primer before the coating application. Not only does this extra layer ensure the maximum level in which the coating can bond to, it also creates the distinct gloss levels that only Modesta can provide. To me, this makes perfect sense. If you were to paint a vehicle, you would apply a primer to the surface first to ensure the perfect bond. Finally, as you would once you have primed and painted the paintwork, the coating is 'baked' with infra red heat to ensure it is fully cured. This level of protection can only be achieved in controlled conditions and will therefore ensure maximum protection and durability going forward.

Any ceramic coating is an investment but choosing the right one will be the difference between success and failure in terms of your expectations. We have spent many years using many different coatings and although Modesta certainly isn’t the cheapest coating available on the market, they can still offer a coating to suit most budgets. As the cost increases up through the range, the benefits and properties of each coating improve and offer more advantages.

 Budget dependent, different coatings will offer improved levels of hardness, durability and repellency. The key purposes outlined above feature in all of the coatings but the higher grade the coating, the better it will bead, the harder it will be and the longer it will last.

Modesta BC-08

 An entry level coating for daily driven vehicles. Traces of Zirconium create great shine and lustre on the paint whilst it's three dimensional matrix ensures excellent water repellency and self-cleaning. The coatings thick layer acts as a barrier to protect the finish of the vehicle from scratches and marring as well as environmental effects. 
2 year durability.

A game changer new formula - this flagship coating is the hardest curing coating in the range and offers the very best in scratch resistance as well as providing a beautiful lustre and great water repellency. 
5-7 year durability.

Modesta BC -05

 Highly hydrophobic, this is the best coating available for water beading and repellency offering a self-cleaning effect making for very easy vehicle maintenance. BC-05 will also add a candy-like gloss to your paintwork giving a unique wet look finish.
